A quad bike was stolen last week from the Hawes area, thankfully it has since been located and recovered. I therefore wanted to emphasise the importance of following the below steps to help safety and security of your belongings, and to help reduce the chances of you becoming a victim.
Secure Your Vehicle: Store your quad bike in a closed, padlocked, and well-lit building. Use Security Devices: Fit immobilisers, trackers, and physical deterrents like steering locks, wheel clamps, or ball hitch locks. Deter Theft: Consider installing CCTV cameras to act as a deterrent and provide evidence if an incident occurs. Record Details: Take photographs of your quad bike, noting its serial numbers and any unique identifying features, and store them safely. Remove Keys: Always remove the keys and store them securely away from the vehicle when not in use. | ||
